Adam and Christal’s Wedding

I was so happy when Adam and Christal asked me to photograph their wedding! These two are such a fun couple and I knew we would be able to get some great photos.

It was a small ceremony at City Hall with close family and friends, and while I have photographed larger weddings and loved those, there’s something I find a little more romantic with the smaller ones. I met them at the City Hall in downtown London, Ontario. Crann Wedding 002_1

Christal was stunning in her gorgeous white dress with her blue accents that gave this snowy day the lovely pop of colour it needed.

We headed inside where it was warm and waited for the rest of the guests to arrive. While we waited we grabbed a few photos.

We then proceeded into the room and everyone took their seats so the ceremony could begin.

It was short and sweet with lots of laughs, their youngest wanted the spotlight and she was dancing all around the room at one point, it was super cute! I made them pose for one last photo before we left, Adam wanted to join in on the fun too.

We then headed off to Victoria Park to take some more photos of the lovely couple and their girls.

The girls were getting cold which was expected on a snowy March day, so we sent them off with Christal’s Best friend/MOH to go get warm and we braved through the cold a bit longer.

We had an amazing dinner at Michaels on the Thames. From the salad, the soup and the main course there wasn’t anyone that went unsatisifed. The best part of course was dessert, they have the most AMAZING Sticky Toffee Pudding. I have only had it once and I want to go back just for that alone!

Thanks again for allowing me to capture your beautiful day!

Welcoming Xavier!

I had the lovely opportunity of meeting with Ashely and Tom, and their wonderful new addition to their family; their first child, Xavier. I was able to grab a few candid photos while he was awake and we were chit chatting.

We then met up the following week to get some posed photos while he was sleepy, he sure did fight the sleepiness!

Eventually after some more snuggles and another bottle he finally settled and we were able to get some more photos of this cutie pie!

He sure is a heart melter! Love the tiny fingers and toes that babies have, its amazing how we start out so small and within a few years their walking and talking.

A Few Portraits with Daveo

A friend and I decided to meet up and I wanted get some portraits. I had a particular vision in mind but this was all pushed aside when he showed up looking like a lumberjack. So we ended up taking some photos that were more woodsy and raw than my original idea. I am certainly happy with the outcome!

It was a pretty humid day, so we didn’t trek around the forest for too long.Portrait of Dave

All in all, it was a fun little get together. After all of that walking we were both thirsty, so like any good Canadian, we went over to Tim Horton’s to get something cold to drink and headed home.

Summer Rose – Fall Photos 2014

I had a visit with my nice Summer Rose, and we decided to venture to Civic Gardens to take a walk around with her and her mom, as it was a beautiful fall day.

This tree was SO big and the colors were so inviting. I had to incorporate it somehow, it was just too pretty to not take a photo of. So I had Summer and her mom, Shantel, sit under the giant tree. I had to back up pretty far even with my wide angle just to get the majority of it in the shot.

You can see a little better in this photo, that the trunk of the tree is pretty enormous!

Summer did not want to leave the pond area! No matter what we tried she kept running back to it… she has fast legs for a little one. We were finally able to find something to distract her… Leaves!

She was having a blast running through all of the leaves and kicking them into the air with her little feet.

After a nice run through the leaves, we found a pretty teal coloured picnic table and so we took a little break.

After that, it was time to go. We all had a fun time trekking through the leaves, and the colours were so lovely as you can see from the photos.

“Okay Auntie… Enough photos! Can we go now?!”
